Dear Diary
Being in the Army is a lot different than playing football. But there are also similarities. One similar thing is that the Captains and coaches act alike they love to yell at you, but only want to make you better in that certain job. I miss playing football with my team we were so close to the Super Bowl Championship and just couldn’t get over that hump. Football is nonexistent here in the war, the sport that we play out here is mostly soccer. Even though I love playing all sports and being competitive I just want to get back on that football field and help my team as much as I possibly can Being away from my wife Marie is miserable I miss and love her so much and I cannot wait to finish my term and see her beautiful face again. I can’t imagine what it is like for her, we got married and had our honeymoon and then right after we got back I left for the Army. As of now I am in Afghanistan defending, it looks like me and my brother Kevin are getting deployed to Iraq to deal with some issues there. I don’t know what Iraq has in store for us but one thing I know it is not going to be good. I’ll be back to write in the diary once I land in Iraq.
